Cat Brogan - Artist Talk and writing workshop

Poet, Educator and unstoppable force, Cat Brogan will be talking about her creative journey and how she has carved out a living as a poet and educator. Then we'll be taken on an interactive experimental ride on the theme 'we take up space'.

Cat Brogan won the BBC Edinburgh fringe Poetry Slam. Her poetry has featured on Radio 4, at Latitude Festival and Cheltenham Literary Festival. She has recently finished her MA Writer/Teacher at Goldsmiths and is a full time Spoken Word Educator in a London School. She is originally from Northern Ireland and has performed internationally including Pakistan, Kenya and New York.

Cat is about to embark on a trip to Kuala Lumpar to research spoken word education with Poetry Cafe KL.
